Member log-in

Classified ad placement is for Farm Bureau members in Virginia only. Paid members should register first, in the top right corner of this page. You will need your membership number, which is on your member card and available from your county Farm Bureau. Please make a note of your User Name and Password, as you will need them to log in to conduct Farm Bureau business such as placing classified ads and Farm Bureau Fresh listings and paying your membership dues.

Magazine classified ad schedule and policies

Farm Bureau members in Virginia receive one free 15-word classified ad per membership per year in Cultivate, which is mailed to associate members, or in Virginia Farm Bureau News, which is mailed to producer members.

 

Ads of 16 to 30 words must be accompanied by payment of $20.

 

Any additional ads placed by members in the same calendar year must be accompanied by payment of $10 for 15 words or fewer, or $20 for 16 to 30 words. Ads submitted without payment will be returned. We do not invoice for classified ads or provide proofs or tearsheets.

Ads with more than 30 words and ads from nonmembers will not be accepted.

 

No ads or cancellations will be taken by phone. Ads will be accepted only from members whose dues are paid.

 

Magazine classified ads can be placed in the following five categories only: 

• crops;
• farm equipment;
• hay/straw;
• livestock; and
• livestock equipment.

 

Classified ads will be published in the following issues: 

• April Cultivate (mailed to associate members only);
• May Virginia Farm Bureau News (mailed to producer members only);
• July Cultivate (mailed to associate members only); and
• August Virginia Farm Bureau News (mailed to producer members only).

 

Online classified ad policies

Farm Bureau members in Virginia may place free Internet-only classified ads. These ads have a 45-word maximum and must be submitted via this website. These ads expire with membership and will need to be resubmitted when a membership is renewed.

 

Internet-only ads can be placed in the following categories only:

• agricultural event notices;
• agricultural services;
• horses; and
• nursery and greenhouse.

Farm Bureau Fresh policies

Farm Bureau members in Virginia may place free Farm Bureau Fresh listings. These searchable online ads have a 45-word maximum and must be submitted via this website. Ads with more than 45 words and ads from nonmembers will not be accepted. These ads do not expire unless your membership expires. You may update your ad by resubmitting or emailing marketplace@vafb.com. No ads or cancellations will be taken by phone. Ads will be accepted only from members whose dues are paid. These listings will appear on a map along with your address.

 

Farm Bureau Fresh listings can be placed in the following categories:

• agritourism;
• aquaculture;
• bees/honey;
• Christmas trees;
• CSA (community-supported agriculture);
• eggs;
• fiber;
• flowers;
• fruit;
• meat;
• mushrooms;
• pick-your-own;
• pumpkins; and
• vegetables.
